President ahmadinejad tries to deliver his speech during his visit to the province of Khuzestan to the south of iran but has a hard time doing that since the ppl of that province keep chanting the word “bikari” which is the Persian word for “unemployment” .

Well, seems to me that you got all those things wrong.
1) US economy is far from "crippled", just in recession. Recession is just means that things aren't going like they used to be.
2) As for the war, it is also bit like recession, but Iraq is going just fine and nothing realy devastating haven't happened in Afghanistan.
