Safe Mode: On
Police brutality in Amsterdam, The Netherlands

This Italian tourist dared to cycle in the wrong direction, on his bike.
Apparently enough reason for Dutch authorities to roughen him up a bit...

Dutch police are well known to ignore true crimes, to prevent dangerous situations for
themselves. Instead, they mostly harass citizens for speeding or minor offenses like this.

Being one of the smallest countries in the world, The Netherlands is also known to have the
lowest respect for privacy and the world's highest number of phone taps by the government.

  • Looks like the Italian is showing his ass.Cops tell you to get off your fiets, you get off the bike.I lived in Holland for years and the cops there were very nice, polite and professional.Only got in trouble once and that was for shooting fireworks out of our window in Den Bosch.Cops came in, told us to knock that shit off,we apologized because we were in the wrong...we all shook hands and away they went. Saw them a week later walking the beat and we bought them Shawarmas.
Wrong way in a bike lan More..

    • @Fire37Rescue
The first three in yellow are Stadswacht, no cops. They are low educated, light armed pseudo police who have not the qualifications to be cop but would like to be so. Power tripping is something they are very keen on.

  • Ok, so I think the Dutch people can sleep peacefully at night now that they know this hardened foreign criminal is not out there riding the wrong way in their bike lanes...

  • If that bicyclist was a Muslim, he wouldn't have been touched.

  • After watching the video a second time, he clearly was being an asshole and resisting arrest. He deserved what he got because he would not cooperate.

    • @NebulaFrost I think you have the right to resist arrest when obviously the cops arrest you for bullshit. The guy is not a criminal.

    • @kimkimkim

What you saw was only part of the story. The video never showed him being stopped in the beginning. There was 2 people driving the wrong way, but only 1 person was being subdued, I wonder why that is?

Pretty sure that guy was being an ass the moment he was spotted.

Every 1 in 1000 citizens is tapped by the government in the Netherlands. Even without any suspicion or court-order.

  • What in the mother fuck is this propaganda bullshit?

"The Netherlands are also known for the highest amount of corruption and disregard for human life not seen anywhere else."

Are u fuckers serious? Nobody says shit when American police beat a homeless man to death that was not resisting. But when we make an Arrest on a stubborn old man that clearly resisting we get shit for it. Why was this even featured seriously....

  • Same here in Belgium... True crimes never get punished. Criminals can escape the prison by faults in the security systems and well the regular citizens who just work hard and do almost nothing wrong get a ticket or even get in jail for driving on the sidewalk with your bike... SAD COUNTRIES!

  • The first three aren't even police. Those are low IQ enforcement fcks. The other two fcks are indeed police, just as dumb. Nice ending with another dumb fck cop harassing the camera guy.

    • @cassotto It's okay man, nobody will be visiting your country after this year. Seeming how your country has decided to get rid of the only thing that draws tourism in. No more weed for tourist? Say goodbye to your economy because once that law is in place your entire country will be loosing a lot of revenue. What is in Netherlands then? Anne Franks house? Yeah I will pass on spending money to see that.

      Good luck Dutch.

    • @jjbmgm Lol ever been in the Netherlands or just commenting with what you heard from other people? Tourism is just an extra, not even worth being worried about. But yes it will mean less dumb fucks from America in the Netherlands which is a good thing in my opinion.

    • @galantir Tourism could be an extra...selling weed definitely not!!! It's like Italy is going to forbid selling food to tourists!ONLY MAC! I've been living in NL for 18 months and I'm pretty sure your taxes are goin to increase soon ;)
