If you liked this, Google the entire movie.
Been here multiple times for this exercise (as well as "Green Flag" and "Air Warrior"), though I was supporting on the ground.
Interestingly, I can't recall a time I participated in Red Flag when there wasn't at least one plane lost....and several times, the pilots along with them.
Yeah, the pyrotechnics are overdubs and a smidge hokey, but these exercises are no- More..

@Bogenschutze - By the way, one of the highlights to participating in these exercises is the initial briefing in the Red Flag theater. Cool as shit to be sitting in a room with representatives from every unit there for that two week period.....the Brits, Singapore, Germany, you name it.....along with our Marines, Navy and Army.....fucking awesome collection of brawn and brains.....fucking awesome.
