  • Nice post Wrano , I love cities with really old buildings in them , better if they're still being used . The construction is astounding sometimes and could scarcly be repeated today .
    Do Hadjuk still play there ?

      There are still people living inside the Diocletian's palace. There is a one old pub there where I go to drink almost every Friday and Saturday.


      We/Hajduk are/is still around. We won against Dinamo Zagreb last Sunday (2:0), our greatest rival. In fact we kicked the shit outa them.

      Btw , there is a talk about reviving old Yugoslav "Bundes" Liga, so we could see some awesome football in near future.

  • When i served in Bosnia we went on adventure training for a week on an island called Barac (if memory serves me correctly) a few miles from Split, it was one of the nicest places I have been. Split was beautifull too , we stayed in a base nicknamed "the hotel" and the staff that helped in the cookhouse etc were all Croatians...a lovely people. The only bad point is the scary landing at the airport where the pilot flies towards a cliff and then makes a sharp left to line up with the run More..

  • Nice vid, hvala!..I was in Split a month ago, great city, very nice people, and some cool clubs on the shoreline..Bol on Brac is really nice, quick ferry from Split, looks like paradise...also the girls are very beautiful!
