  • there are more people in the west coast dying from smoking, crack, other assorted drug problems than any reported deaths from a nuclear plant in Japan. Really find another fear tactic.

  • The radioactive sulfur has to negotiate the jet stream first. It was powerful enough to stop B-29's in mid-air during WW2.
Also the jet stream flows from WEST to EAST - away from the US. And if it does get here, after all that, there's nothing we can do about it anyway.

  • The news media has made it pretty plain that Fukushima is a major, ongoing disaster with global environmental consequences that may last decades if not centuries and just might cause an increase in worldwide cancer morbidity. So where is the coverup?

    • @Airedale I live in California and can't stand liberals of any type. Trust me, there are a LOT more of us out here than you think, and we have to deal with lib BS firsthand on a day to day basis. Think of California as an unconquered frontier for rational thought.

    • @The American Insurgency I think I am going to make it a life goal to expose the craziness of Nuclear Power . The public have not got a clue. One solar flare or EMP and the whole world is dead, I still cant see how they could not be seen as targets in a war, are the governments expecting never to go to war???

    • @major9985 i heard there are 400 nuclear power plants in the northern hemisphere and anywhere between 0-5 in the southern hemisphere and that a lot of the billionaires are buying up property all over south america....

    • @The American Insurgency Yeah, what happens is, the Northern Hemisphere does not mix with the Southern, so all the radiation that came from Japan went down to the equator then just got blown back up, it does not cross over. the idea is, if you think there is going to be anything that might cause loss of power to nuclear facility or anything that could make them stop working, get on a plane and go for a holiday in Australia.

But the best option is to live near the ocean and have a boat, so you More..
