  • About five years back, I bought my wife a $7,000 Vespa 250 scooter because she said she wanted to ride. It was beautiful, a nice mint green with a wind screen and a rear carrier. She we took it to her test for a M/C license. I told her multiple times, "When you do the cones, don't look down at the ground, don't slow down. Keep your head up, or the scooter will go down. And it's better to just run over a cone, then to let the scooter fall and get damaged.
