  • Ramadi, the capitol of Anbar Province, was a tough hard battle. But the Marines finally defeated Al Qaeda and their insurgent allies there and brought about peace in the heart of Anbar at a time when people were saying it couldn't be done. It wasn't without cost though.....

  • I'm just wondering, since these guys are in the IED business, are they responsible for planting shovels next to the civilians they murder? Or are they the ones that plant wires and other materials on the ground in the open and shoot anyone who comes near them and claim they had IED making materials? Or are these murders just the kind that any occupying american killer can do?

    • These are EOD guys. They go after IEDs, not the people. As for those snipers who left detcord on the ground, that is bit more questionable tactic, but i don't see why civilians would need to pick up stuff like that.
