A cat was using my garden as a litter box. I was growing about 20 bhut jolokia bushes. When I saw Critter Ridder was just pepper, I chopped up a few pounds of my peppers (the not so good ones) and sprinkled it all over. Seems to have worked for the last two years.
Maybe just get some of that cheap pepper spray and hit a few spots.

A pellet or bb gun could easily take care of this little bastard. Buy one from Chinamart, use it once, take it back after the job is complete.

We once used moth balls to drive skunks out of their nest in our garage.

Get one of those garden-hose dispenser bottles and fill it with BLEACH. The hypochlorite will send 'em packing, AND it will break down the thiols in their own spray. But don't get it on the roses. :P

We had possum and feral cats lodging under our mobile home in Florida. The best fix I found was to spray straight ammonia under the mobile home with a garden pump sprayer. The odor knocks out their ability to sense approaching danger by smell and leaves them uncomfortable and vulnerable. They vacated the premises after two applications two weeks apart. The ammonia odor is undetectable by humans after about 4 or 5 days. Worked like a charm.

Try a 12 gauge with .00 buck. Works every time. But can cause a bit of a smelly mess when used on skunks.
