The 'presumption of reason' is the subjective part of this statute 776.013 that is being used against it.
If that part was removed it would be much more definitive.
Example: Someone runs around Miami chasing people in a threatening manner. A person who is being pursued shots him. If the shooter was in fear of his life. Then, his case should be dismissed.
I have commented a lot on this Statute lately and I would like to remind my critics that I have always stated that "in fear of you More..

@Flashovr I teach my little girl self defense and some quite nasty moves to.... and what i tell her is ,its ok if you feel real frear then go for it i figure that she really feels threatened then she can rip his eyeballs out and breack a finger ,and i will deal with the legal full out,cuase thats beter than someasshole hurting her! so i guess that is a sensible rule
