  • Not really. The guy has had serious medical problems his entire life. He's had multiple kidney transplants. While on a TV show last year, he had a seizure during the show. All it would take is another seizure at the top of a flight of stairs or something like that, and a person could easily be done in. No real details about what happened have come out yet, but given Coleman's health history, I don't think anybody expected him to live to 70 or 80.

  • Different stroke?

  • Hit his head on Wednesday and goes to the hospital. Slips into a coma and is put on life support on Thursday. Wife decides to pull the plug on his life support early Friday, pronounced dead a little after noon.

Does anyone else find it strange that someone could pull the plug so soon on someone they supposedly love? Also makes me wonder how he "hit his head" at his home so hard that it caused a hemorrhage. I guess I just find this all to seem a little weird.

    • That is fucked. I'm surprised the hospital even gave her the option to pull the plug at that point.

Especially considering it's Gary f'n Coleman.

    • do you know what his wishes were? everyone in my family knows with 100% certainty that if i get put on life support, to pull the plug as they say. its isnt living in my opinion and i want no part of it. maybe he gave the same instructions? the guy was in constant pain and dialysis for god knows how many years...the guy might have just been tired.

    • It doesn't take too much bleeding in the brain to render it useless. Once enough pressure is built up there is little hope of recovery. If one remembers the case of actress Natasha Richardson, she fell while skiing. Those around her said the fall wasnt too bad and it didn't appear that she hit her head too hard. A few hours after the accident, she was complaining of severe headaches, and she of course never recovered from that.
