Wow, this video really got me thinking:
Does anyone really like jazz music? Or artsy types just listen to it so everyone knows how artsy they are?

It's actually very easy to listen to while working, because the noise stimulates some peoples mind but they don't get distracted paying attention to lyrics.

Interesting, it has the exact opposite effect on me. The coffee shop where I do my homework plays free-form jazz all evening long, and it's so distracting I need to bring headphones to block it out. Something about having no beat and no rhythm makes it extremely irritating to me.

Yeah, people have very different responses to various stimuli, some people are distracted by things that stimulate others, it's strange but it's true. For me I find chewing gum and listening to soft music with no lyrics really helps me keep working at a fast pace when I need work quickly on a welding job that has a tight deadline or something. Others might find my working conditions extremely irritating though.

Some serious patience and skill. I would have taken a pic and said "here's the view of the Manhattan skyline from the Empire State Building".

Astonishing human brain without electricity or software update, but isn’t a digital camera black and white less time consuming

I bet a could take a picture in a matter of seconds that would be ten times higher resolution and more accurate than anything hand drawn.
