has anyone ever thought that maybe this Asad is already dead, that maybe he was killed long ago by those running the country? I have not heard one peep from that guy since the uprise started.I seriously doubt he exists anymore.

@soilentgreene Actually he not only showed up on tv after the uprise but he also visited the actual battle torn neighborhoods. I know this because I have learnt to fucking use GOOGLE
BTW the whole point of a autocratic government is that it is run by one man and his death will bring a new regime. So if he is already dead there is no need to hide the fact that he is dead the next in line will take over without the vote or say of the public.
