A boy, who painted his face black to dress up like Martin Luther King Jr for a class project, was taken out of school after his headteacher said it was offensive.
Sean King, a white second grade student at Meridian Ranch Elementary in Colorado Springs, was asked to remove the makeup because it was deemed ‘disrespectful to black people’ I hope this isn't a repost. I did a search and didn't find anything.

Well if that's the case, it sucks even more, IMO. Seems he did his homework, was using inspiring parts of MLK's speech at the Washington Mall and so on. They made a mountain out of a mole hill. This "I'm offended" bullshit has gone way too far. And it was only one person who bitched about it.. ONE.

Now the kid wanted to look like a hero for his project, and the school called that offensive. "Hey kid, you look like a monkey, clean up or get out!" is what I see.
