Not sure what their motives were behind this juvenile display as sadly, I'm not a trained shrink. But I'm gathering that these guys are protesting the war in some way.
    Bush Bad,America Bad,military bad,terrorists just misunderstood,war bad, etc etc

If my Yawn were any bigger it would need a Hurricane name attached to it.

No problem there. Freedom of speech and all. My problem is like a lot of things. It just isnt real. Many sources have investigated these anti war activist ex-soldiers only to find out they never served a day in combat boots. Phonies, frauds and wannabees.
If I'm wrong. No big whup. They still have the right to say what they want,no matter how wrong, misinformed and attention seeking they are.

I dont have to agree with them.
Think of if this way. If Charles Manson was let out of jail tonite and while he was out he came upon a house on fire. Manson rushes in and saves an old woman from the burning house. Is he a hero? No. Did he do a heroic deed? Sure, I'll give him that but he is still a dirtbad AHole.

If these soldiers served this nation (and I have my reservations) they did an honorable thing. But what they are doing now is dishonorable in time of war. Treason.

  • Anybody can wear a tshirt.
My buddies and I were called out last year to the large wildfires in Georgia and Florida. There were literally hundreds of firefighters on the firelines.
After the weather changed, the large fires out and the mopp up and cold trailing was done we firefighters went for steaks and beer. Then some of the young guys wanted to hit the bars and meet the ladies. No biggy. I'm happily married a supervisor and sober. I'm driving. Well, the ladies were out in force wanting to meet these young guys (and gals)in there fire tshirts. I saw guys in these bars wearing fire tshirts who had never touched a nozzle or worn a pair of whites boots. I asked them. when confronted they were honest to me,they were not firefighters ...honest to the ladies? not so much. :)

  • I heard "I've been homless for three years."

More than likely former service in an anti-war protest.

What the liberty bell had to do with it, idfk.
