Not at all, would you rather the man lay down his arms and let the rebels overrun the people, city, and government?
A good leader will defend his country, which is what President Assad is doing. I would call it a "civil war" if the outside foreign forces weren't helping so much, but why help aid a foreign civil war? That's the big question.....
