Holding up a 'SPEED TRAP' sign about four blocks ahead of a speed trap.
"Am I being detained - Am I free to go?" Magic words!

  • :) That felt good. I bet there is a pig watching this and his blood pressure just raised to dangerous levels. 1 for the home team.

    • @Mr_Persuki how is a cop playing by the rules on tape acting professional a victory for anyone but the cop?

You got a point there. But I was talking about other cops watching and getting angry. I can see some of them reaching for their guns and wanting to shoot their monitors, but then getting up and going to beat their wifes. I wish cops worked for the interest of the people so I did not hate them so much. I dont hate them as much as I hate who they work for. In my jujitsu class, I wrestle with a few of them and some are good humans but still work for big brother.

    • @falsephrophet They only pass out tickets to speeders. It is a safety issue. They are not supporting the state budget with speeding tickets you fool.

    • @falsephrophet The article starts "The reasons are in dispute..." and later "CHP and other police officials respond that their sole concern is safety." and " more traffic filings last year than in 2006 – a 16 percent increase." That is a seven year difference and is statistically insignificant. You are supporting my argument.

    • @Mesmer where does this money go? it wont go towards charitys or food for the homeless. it does not get given to drivers who are obaying the speed limit either as a reward system. i believe in education not theft.

  • You can almost hear the cop shitting his pants when he realizes this dude knows his rights.

"Oh, is that what you're doing?"

By that he meant "Oh, I was going to violate your rights and you caught it on camera? I'm going to repeat my question because I'm annoyed that my uniform gives me no real power and the citizens are truly in control."

    • @QuestionAuthority311 I'm sure your comment was relevant and humorous, but all I could hear was your avatar, so I upvoted. Good day!

    • @QuestionAuthority311 Pretty much this.

They approach you the citizen feeling full of power and control. They make demands that regular, law abiding citizens would cripple and take without question. This man knew his rights, and stood up to the cop. Instantly you could tell as soon as he realized this was no push over civvie that his fear and control scheme wasn't going to work.

Good job on this guy, didn't sound like a total douche like the usual camera + cop morons.

  • harassing cops over such stupid and simple things dont add inches to your dick. im tired of these videos of these immature idiots trying to prove a point over something so little. police brutality being filmed is one thing but acting like a little 15 year old girl only wastes the officer's time.

    • @deepecology get back to us when you get your speeding ticket, pay 250 dollars, lose credibility with the racketeering insurance companies.. you'll pay higher insurance rates.. and if you get injured in a car accident.. the insurance will drag on any compensation for about a decade.

    • @deepecology Officer is wasting his own time ...he didn't have to stop for this guy...just ignore him

      Posted Oct-25-2012 By

    • @deepecology He's not looking for inches, he's looking to restore the constitution.

Cops in this country are out of control after 9/11. They need reminders that they serve us, and not vice versa.

    • @deepecology The gentlemen never harrassed anyone. the cop thought he'd (try) intimidate the member of the public who wasnt breaking any laws due to the fact that the cop was collecting revenues for his fuckin puppet racketeering government.

What the fuck does that have to do with a cop catching speeding people?

Speeding is not ok, and there's no good reason to try to help people who are speeing, out of getting a ticket.

  • And that's exactly how it should be done. No posturing, no lecturing about one's rights, no rubbing it in their faces and forcing them to find SOMETHING illegal to enable them to save face... just ask if you are being detained, and if not, walk the fuck away.

    Posted Oct-26-2012 By

  • good, that's that. Both of them acted like they should. Citizen USES HIS FUCKING RIGHTS and the cop stays cool. Don't worry all you good little fascists, a man will come rule us like a king soon enough, you won't question anything and everything will be just swell.

  • This kicks ass.

Cops need to be out fighting crime - not working speed traps and handing out tickets, which is just another form of taxation.

  • So it's ok to hold a sign that says "God hates fags" outside of a military funeral but holding a sign warning other people about a speed trap is (or should be) illegal?

    sure thing boss...

  • Cops hate citizens who are aware of their rights

  • I think the cop's anger speaks volumes to the phoniness of traffic laws. If cops really gave out speeding tickets for public safety reasons, then the police should be happy to have citizens holding signs warning drivers to slow down. However, this officer kind of outed the worst kept secret that it's not only a revenue generating scheme, but also that it's a way to void people's Constitutionally protected rights. When the police pull you over for speeding, their revenue generating scheme, they b More..

  • I think it all depends on what the sign said. If it said something like "watch your speed for safety" then he's not doing anything wrong, as opposed to "watch out for the speed trap ahead"
