Légion étrangère 2012
Il est l'œuvre de la cellule audio-visuelle de la Légion étrangère qui depuis plus de deux ans a accumulé les images nécessaires à la réalisation de celui-ci en suivant les régiments au quartier, à l'entraînement ou en opérations extérieures. Le montage est quant à lui le fruit du travail du caporal Oleg Zankov.
Foreign Legion 2012
It is the work of the cell audio-visual of the Foreign Legion who for over two years has accumulated the necessary images to achieve it by following the regiments to the neighborhood, in training or on operations abroad. The assembly is itself the result of work of Corporal Oleg Zankov.

According to the COMLE (High Command of the Foreign Legion)since the French Army went professional the number of French citizen that join the Légion drop from 30% to 15%.

French citizens can join as officers, but can't enlist as regular legionaires. They can however "change" nationality and often enlist as coming from a French speaking part of Canada.

My man, I don't get all the French bashing here on LL. In Afghanistan only the U.S., the U.K., and Canada have lost more soldiers than France.

@cALlme6 Best in the French Army ??? Read about the Legion then you will understand what makes them good but equal to the rest of the Elite troops of the French Army. Don't you forget that they are trained by the French, same training that the Troupes de Marine, the Paratroops or the Mountain troops have.
