@Gallman WAY WRONG!! Considering how aggressive several of those dogs were being those couple would have taken him of the bike for sure had he rode at them.
Once he was down he would have been mauled...those were not "happy puppies barking."

They are clearly farm dogs, and they charged him because he was entering their territory, and they were warning him. the worst thing he could have done was freak out start yelling, and swing his bike around.
