Pretty cool, but rather loud. They should have also posted electrical efficiency of the motors. They look pretty basic, wonder if their series wound, or permanent magnet.

Why would you pick any profession other than Engineering? Fun, challenging, real impact, leading edge and personal success.
And hey, if you have math conniptions - its just a tool like a computer game, a crescent wrench or a water color brush - YOU use it, not the other way around.

@Nepean109 Obviously, you have never worked as a professional engineer. The profession is full of assholes that have ego's beyond belief...well except for me of course.

My daughter is currently enrolled in a Aeronautical Engineering/Applied Physics program and will be attending either MIT or CalTech Pasadena in the future. She's brilliant. I just went to her schools award ceremony this morning where she picked up an award. She's already taking college courses, attending a NASA sponsored school,in the National Honor Society and she is only 15 years old.She loves it.
I have not been able to help her with her studies for three years now, so advanced a More..

@Fire37Rescue Good for you/her! My oldest is 12 and I can't keep up with the way they are teaching math these days. Never knew that there was more than one way to get the right answer.

Not impressed at all. This only took money and a very small amount of guidance.
