*Sigh* I would applaud the effort for focusing on a more contemporary religion/cult but its not enough of a subject leap and the the witticisms are now so old its possible a religion of condell is in the offing.
I think Hubbard was a genius - he created a system by which advancement further into the cult/religion is done by payment! Business meets blind faith! If you cant drag the human race into an age of enlightenment or get them to shake off the shackles of such then at the very least you can create a system by which they can forever spend time searching for englightenment and putting cash in YOUR hand.
I think if aliens are alive they gave us scientology as a last clue in the religion puzzle. As a race, either we sink, now or we swim. Hint - if there is such a thing as the scientology inquisition of 2246, we are done for.

scientology is a cheap attempt at trying to corner the growing atheists market with some crap psychoanalysis techniques and brainwahsing through the good ol' techniques of the reward. Any gullible fool will fall for it.
Its scary and I personally would suggest any kind of PROFFESIONAL: buddhist, yoga, psychotherapy or singing, art, massage, etc.. etc... 1000000000 times before I would suggest Scientology... It can damage you just as much as you htink it will help you.
