  • Boil that shit down, roll the sludge to a jelly bean, coat that fucker in chocolate and eat the little fucker... then go stare at all the rest of your plants in the garden and pay homage to the cycle of life that brought you to the state of mind you surely will never again take for granted

    • @Quantico sounds a bunch more fun than trying to eat a 30cm long piece of San Pedro like we did back in Australia.

    • @Quantico
Back in my uni days there was a guy that sold L. williamsii at a market. They were a little smaller than this one. I bought one during O-week and ate the lot, including the roots, then headed off to uni for the entertainment. It was one of the most surreal experiences I've ever had. Wasn't quite enough to really trip. But colors and sounds were amazing. I just felt at ease with everything around me. Just sat by myself staring at everyone and everything with a big grin on my face. Rea More..

    • @Quantico You can also make an acid-base extraction of peyote or san pedro to get mescaline chloride powder. 200-300 mg is fine to eat :)

    • @IgigiNemesis The Huichol make beautiful beadwork, reminiscent of colorful visions. I didn't know they were the ones who ingested peyote but having seen their beadwork I'm not surprised.

I was given two, six years ago, and have yet to see them bloom. Though I was given a Night Blooming Cerus, by a dying friend, and it took four years to bloom. Beautiful flowers!!

  • these cacti are extremely slow growing, and cheese eating college boys traipsing thru the Chihuahua desert playing Don Juan destroy the entire plant by harvesting the buttons incorrectly. as the salesmen told me when i bought my Trichocereus Peruvianus, 'hey man, if you looking to just get buzzed, go buy a 40 ouncer'. leave the lophophora to the people for whom it's a bona fide sacrament.

    • @Sykoe.....after countless times of eating with friends and not really experiencing much, I've had the experience of eating it in the teepee in "meetings'. With as many as 40 others, and as few as 10 or so. It takes at least 3 "Chiefs to run a meeting. Run by a "Road Chief". The medicine is always prepared by the Road Chief's wife, and there are as many was to prepare it as there are Road Chief's wives. Dried, in a paste, guacamole-ish, raw, you name it. Never tastes good. S More..
