  • And yes there were pilots from the USA helping us out before the Americans eventually joined the war. They formed 3 Eagle Squadrons just after the Battle of Britain. My girlfriend's grandfather was one of them - she's from San Diego.

    So true -this is where some of the Yanks on here get us wrong -we really only belly-ache about their politicians not joining the war not about their many brave airmen and soldiers and navy. the American people were duped by the likes of Jos More..
