  • So where the hell was Barry's "being Presidential" and showing "compassion" when our Ambassador and security personell were calling for help and that help was told to stand down?

Fuck MSNBC and their drone talkng heads. Talk about "politicizing" Sandy. Fucking commie bastards the lot of them.

    • @nonconforme Last I checked Embassy's have soldiers to defend them? Well trained marines? Why did the ambassador not return to the embassy?

Are you really trying to compare 4 deaths in hostile territory to a natural disaster and expecting the President or anyone else to react before the events actually occur?

Gos Bush and 9/11 and Katrina. yeah I don't think either party has a right to crow.

And I will bet you a dollar the bus people and fuel costs and probably all of the "donations&q More..

"Are you really trying to compare 4 deaths in hostile territory to a natural disaster and expecting the President or anyone else to react before the events actually occur?"

Ummm... "events" WERE "occuring" in Libya and what "reaction" are you talking about. All Barry had to do was say "GO" and help was on the way. Instead he said "NO STAND DOWN" and as a result 4 Americans are dead and a Commanding Officer, Gen More..

    • @nonconforme You know it does not work that way. There were no drones over head during the attack and even had their been there is no way the president could have mobilized anything. There is a chain of command.

And knowing that a Lt. Colonel is the military equivalent of middle management I am not going to take one idiots word over the word of the folks who were actually there. For goodness sake can you even imagine a President saying "Don't send them back up, let them die? Balderdash!

  • In my experience iv'e found that statement regarding liberals to be bang on the mark.

  • Romney was not my first choice but the guy is genuine in what he is doing. If the libs would do their homework they would know he has gone way out of his way to help people... this is in his nature and to mock and attack him is deplorable and disgusting

  • So the federal government is powerless in the face of a storm and has relinquished it's authority to the Red Cross.
Damn you Mitt for blatantly disregarding the Red Cross.

    • @lonewolf6972
that was exactly my thought. it was as if he was turning over power and authority to the red cross and stepping down, not leading.

    • @Amusing Or perhaps knowing wisely that this event does not require federal assistance? (Or PR sound bites?) isn't this what the GOP has been crying for. Let the Free Market take care of itself?

    • @DemocratWithDerringer aren't democrats the first to jump in and say the government is supposed to run everything?

      Posted Oct-31-2012 By

      (2)

    • @Amusing No that is just a vile rumor, many of us can read and believe in both the Constitution and democracy. Don't listen to Rush Limbaugh he is not an expert on democracy or democrats he is a fat media tycoon who lies and claims he is not the media. Funny I always thought that having a microphone in front of you while talking generally made one either media, else a singer, comedian, or master of ceremonies, but then again they too are still "the media".

    • @DemocratWithDerringer So why did Barry rush to DC to show everyone what a great leader he is? Why is he lambasting Romney, saying he is going to cut FEMA if he believes FEMA isn't the answer?

  • LOL. A staged PR presentation for Obama and against Romney. One would almost think it's in the MSNBC corporate bylaws!

I might add, doesn't the Pres seem to be subtly taking credit for what the Red Cross does? It's been doing that a long time without him... and no doubt some of them hope they're soon altogether without him!

  • MSNBC is a joke, so are the people who take it seriously. This panel is nothing but a bunch of Obama campaign workers. Even CNN would be embarrassed by this. Credible networks would have a panel to offer time to the opposition. A panel on a real network, would be for debate. These children gather around to agree with each other, because none of them can hold their own while being questioned.

  • Compassion, Humanity......apparenlty you can only have that if u spend tax dollars on disaster relief.. But if you collect things that people give to you to help out others....you some how don't have it?? Guess I don't follow.....

    • @gammyland
that stuff is needed but if you donate canned goods and clothing it has to be sorted, transported and then distributed.
cash donations (which mittens can afford) are used for resourses at the source of the disaster.
it may feel good to donate tomato soup but cash and blood donations are much better spent.

    • @jen8933 For starters, I'm not debating about what is being donated... and don't you think people in these areas are going to need a can of tomato soup?? Pretty sure with the world upside down over there right now...no power n all, Wallmart isn't going to be full of food waiting to be bought.

  • Romney was also promoting dollars and blood donations, but msnbc doesnt want to show that. At the same time, obuma was at the red cross telling them to move "forward" and saying "we dont leave anyone behind". The media loved that. They said obuma was so presidential. How pathetic.
