I love slightly more intelligent animals that allow and even initiate human encounters. Even in a world where everything is a 'hunter' or the 'hunted', naturally- animals like this raven push the boundaries, and in a sense be-friend a possible threat. Meaning that this bird made a conscious decision to TRUST him for whatever reason. Incredible!
We have some Ravens here in Canada but not where i live.. It's a shame because i would really enjoy interacting with this incredibly intelligent bi More..

I think he hops to keep pace with the guy filming, it's faster for the bird. Otherwise he'd have to run real fast and there seems to be something the matter with his feet so maybe he hopes the human will help him. Maybe he's entangled with some string. Happens to wildlife quite often.
