@Lllarrry Yeah but to be fair, even if the US didn't use infantry to cover the tanks the RPG's that the insurgents in Fallujah had wouldn't pierce the armour anyway. I recall early in the war a British Challenger broke down in a ditch and had to wait a while for help to arrive and the crew said every couple of minutes the insurgents would fire an RPG at the tank... which simply bounced off. The Abrams is at least as good.

When I visited Vickers a guy there had a meter+ thich cross section of armor on his wall sectioned through a shaped charge weapon effect. It cut all the way through, Chobham is massively better.

I watch both russian as well as the western media. Never have I seen so much inconsistency if I compare the reporting as much as it is about Syria.
It doesnt really matter whos is that you want to believe, as much as the way that apparently neutral, unbiased reporting does the truth can be so misleading.

One camera is mounted on the turret, it clearly moves with the turret, the other camera is handled by the crew you can see them between the buildings at f.e. 0:53 and 2:00.
The tank is guided by a spotter read the description.
And the T-72 has much longer range than sniper handweapons and you should know that !
