  • She's actually right. If China did revaluate their currency, we'd feel rapid inflation as well.

  • Unfortunately, She's right.

If we choose to continue with our current monetary policy we must rely on nations like China and Saudi Arabia for stability.

There are options however, sound money for one, but most individuals choose to trivialize these options and dismiss them as unrealistic...so, we will most likely continue along the lines we have been, and no one from either side of the aisle should be surprised when they see our elected leaders further undermine our rights and sovreignty in a futile effort to curry favor with leaders of nations who would rather see our demise than our advancement.

  • Look, it's very hard to compete against prison labor. Perhaps our country should tap into this yet untouched labor pool in our own country. That pool would be in excess of 1.3 million.

Give small businesses exclusive access to local county jails; and or, prison populations in their local areas and districts, in exchange for certified job training. This would reduce the recidivism and re-equip the manufacturing sectors with cheap labor.

We should stop the government from having the only access to convicts to enslave them for their own exploits. After all, we're the society that they infringed upon, we should be the ones to garner any productions they may be capable of producing while at the same time indenturing them back to responsible citizenry.

That's not a bad idea. There would have to be regulation in place to allow only a certain ratio of convict labour to maintain full time employment for honest working people. I could see some real savings corporations though.
