Well,it's their way I suppose ,but it amazes me when I get bashed for being a hunter that takes a deer with a rifle or bow and the deed is done in as little as 10-15 seconds. No way I could take this approach.

@gonehuntin the pig was stressing out when they were tying it up.it didn't stop squealing until it lost consciousness with the loss of blood pressure.it defo is not as humane as being shot with a gun or a bow!

Not very humane. It was a slow death. Pigs are smart and can "sense" death when it is coming I am told. The freaking out at the beginning is a clear sign of that. They get very excited as they approach slaughter houses too in trucks.
They couldn't have put a rifle to it's brain? Faster, less painful and quieter for those trying to get some damn rest in the village. Nothing fucks up your sleep like a squealing pig at 130 db!

@Pomodorro well i shoot mine with a 22 in there pen with a bowl of feed.and then give um a fast columbian necktie.a pig freaks out whenever you try to make it do something it does not wanna do.they dont stun them cause the heart pumps better alive to bleed it out.but yes you are correct about slaughter house smell.they know.mine just think its time to eat
