This happened in 05' It seemed odd that we weren't greeted by our favourite Iraqi children , or anyone that day. I sensed we should leave, and in doing so my gunner just threw what we had for the children out of his turret (candy, soccer balls, school supplies, e.t.c.)Only these two kids our platton had come to love over time had gone to retrieve what was out there. We were a quarter of a mile away before we heard, and then responded to, the blast. These monsters (insurgents) don't care who they kill. Come on man, inncoent children! NO WHERE THAT I HAVE READ , DOES IT SAY TO KILL CHILDREN! MOST OF ALL ISLAMIC IRAQI CHILDREN!
