incredibly basic view of the war... all Iraqis are innocent the insurgency has nothing to do with these salt of the earth folk all American soldiers are fear filled and pampered...
All bullshit of course and the gravely 'burrows' style narration to hit the home run...
Now how about a little honesty? The insurgents are the sons of his neighbors, and the bomb blast that hits the truck blows off the drivers legs, and the soldier who fired the shot going home with post traumatic stress for starters.

Your lack of intelligence made you miss the point of the film completely. The man that was killed wasn´t an insurgent, he was a simple farmer. As it was told in the story he lived 200 metres away, and this is just the basic people giving us our view of the war. Interesting and well made, I guess you wouldn´t agree.
