Syria conflict: 'Scores of bodies' found in Darayya
Opposition activists in Syria say scores of bodies have been found in the town of Darayya, accusing government troops of a "massacre".
According to unconfirmed reports, 200 bodies were discovered in houses and basement shelters. The activists say many of the victims had been "summarily executed".
Without commenting on the claims, Syrian state TV said Darayya was being "cleansed of terrorist remnants".

20 years ago you would not even think that BBC would make the propaganda news openly and clearly for the benefit of the terrorist rebels instead of Syrian people.
this is not the news report, by the speakers comments makes things so clearly making you think to take a side. the reporter do not have any shred of evidence that Asad killed his own people but the BBC clearly given one side of the story.. how about more logical way, the terrorist killed these people when they knew they are loosing th More..

its religion...and blind devotion...a sunni has no problem killing a shia child and the shia would do the same back because they may be Muslim, but they are also enemy factions...they are all either Hatfield or McCoy over there...

im not so sure this conflict is sunni/shia.. assad is from some other faction and still those soldiers got to have family somewhere... this whole thing is just so mindbogglingly senseless, i cant get my head around it

its an eye for an eye, and the military always wants to back the winning team...im sure all the soldiers that are hardcore enough to stay got their families to a safe spot...im sure a majority of the soldiers who are not alliwite are also scared shitless to leave, the SAA was killing suspected defectors left and right early on and i am sure they have threatened the families of the soldiers if they leave...

Also, iran has provided many snipers and grunts just like syria provided many soldiers when iran had an uprising, it is always easier for a foreigner to kill then a soldiers killing his own citizens

@soilentgreene Quote it correctly. "Cleansed the area of terrorists" meaning the FSA. These are the homes of the soldiers. The SAA wouldn't have anything to gain by killing their own, the FSA on the other hand have a lot to gain.
Don't get me wrong, ASSAD is evil and needs to be ousted, but this is all wrong. Fighting evil with a greater evil still ends in evil.

Ummm...the SAA were killing hundreds of their own soldiers early on in the war when defections were rampant, the commanders dont give a shit about SAA homes

You do not understand the nature of the conflict. Darayya is Sunni, and kind of like a suburb of Damascus. Those are Republican guard units that hang around Damascus (notice the more modern Russian tank?). Those forces are almost all Alawite. This is Alawites massacring Sunnis, who they clearly do not view as "their own people".
