ObamaCare: She's a former nun, an Army major, a lawyer, a college professor and a physician...Funny Shit

Funny Shit and she didn't have to claim 1/32 Cherokee to achieve any of it.

She's a former nun, an Army major, a lawyer, a college professor and a physician. Now Dr. Barbara Bellar wants to be a state senator from Illinois, and she has one question about ObamaCare.

  • You go girl, tell it like it is. There is no lie in anything you said but I know there's always a liberal democrat who will find a way to spin your comments and a liberal media that will never show this. Not even Leno or Letterman will touch this with a ten foot pole.

  • Well, I see why she is a 'former' nun. Such empathy for the needy; God would be proud.

If we are broke, then we are the richest broke nation in the world lady.

  • Big deal. She barely won her primary, and is getting smoked in the general.

  • Some people are just addicted to sitting on their asses for years in school. But as a doc, it's Romney's slash-rich-tax pledge that has got her creaming her jeans.

    • @beer foot Do we let Canadians vote in our elections? No. Do we let Canadians come here for medical treatment (by doctors who sat on their asses for years to get their degree), because the Canadian healthcare system can't or won't treat them? Yes.

Should we care about YOUR input on OUR election? No. STFU

because the Canadian healthcare system can't or won't treat them?

You guys love to say stuff like this, but in my whole life I've never even heard of someone going to the US for treatment. It's a strawman argument.

And there are some Canadians on this site who know more about the US elections than a lot of Americans. Discounting ideas or discussion because of nationality is a bit wonky.

My grandma had knee replacement surgery and it took a matter of months. That video you linked is the rare exception. I've known lots of people who've had surgery for a variety of things, and it didn't take "years" like the video portrays.

Also, it's a video from a foundation which promotes "the values of individual freedom and choice, limited government, and market-friendly policies."

Go figure that a libertarian TV organization would have a proble More..

    • @jum_runky I didn't make the video, and didn't go looking for an opinion, but rather a first person account. Those are her words and her experience.

  • i find it funny that when a rightwing doctor opposes the Presidents Healthcare Law, it's all "YOU GO GIRL!!!!" but when a liberal doctor supports it, you rightwing fucks are all " he/she has no clue" you rightwing nuts are so fucking stupid it's embarassing!
