June 2008
Since Israel began its blockade, Gaza has rarely been out of the news. We take a look at life behind the blockade and the headlines and we see a people left suffering and angry.
'Enough!' shouts a gas-buyer in the market, 'We are a people who have had enough!' The mood in the market, as in Gaza as a whole, is one of misery and anger. No one is allowed to enter or leave Gaza, and restrictions have been placed on water, fuel and electricity. 'This is the problem with Gaza', says John Ging, director of the UN Relief and Works Agency. 'The problems are identified, the solutions are known and yet nothing changes other than the situation continues to get worse and worse'. Karima Al Doul has cancer in an advanced stage. Before the blockade she used to travel to Israel for chemotherapy, but now treatment is unavailable and she has only months to live. Karima worries about the five children she will leave behind. It is the vulnerable that have suffered most from the blockades, she tells us. 'Many sick people have died because of this blockade. They are sick; this is not their fault'.

Humanitarian Impact of Israel's Blockade in Gaza

"how can this be allowed to happen in our civilized world?"...well there is a simple answer, HAMAS' mentality is not one of a civilized world and indiscriminately launching rockets for no foreseeable purpose is not something the civilized world does...im sure Israel wishes it was dealing with a civilized group becuase then they could sit down like civilized people and hammer out an agreement...key word in everything i have said is "civilized", something HAMAS and its supporte More..

These poor conditions in Gaza should be addressed by the people that live there. They should be complaining to those guys with black ski masks and green bandanas. Oh, that's right, they would be exectuted if they did that. Never mind.

They are paying thousands of dollars to people to allow them to build tunnels on there property.
I saw a news item on CNN one house was left standing in an area and the owner said because he had not allowed tunnels.

the 35% can start praying to their Allah, since they pray to the same Allah to kill the Jews that are treating their diseases.

Ironically around 6 months back Hamas attacked a fuel distribution center crossing at the border and killed few Israelis who were helping out transport fuel to Gaza.

If they have had enough then maybe its time to get rid of their leaders. No matter which way you look at it Hamas has brought them to this most recent situation. You reap what you sow

I would not know seeing that Isael has blown the crap out of everything. This is from so called israel. It all comes down too morality. This is one thing Isreal does not have. These killers need putting to the sword for what they have done.
