@mr_gunaseelan If they have just a broken leg they are put to 'sleep'. Even if a horse recovers from a broken leg it can barely walk. I think a lot of those horses are no more:(

OMG that has got to be the biggest horse racing mishap I have ever seen.
I've been thrown form a horse at speed and it sucks, to say the least. I can't imagine going down and having half a dozen others pile up on top of me. Holy shit. I hope everyone was o.k.
