I think you should have used a larger "block". We actually got to see a little of this film.
Do you really think that you could recognize someone at 40 feet from the back of their heads?
This is a public place. Video and pictures are common place and expected in situations such as this.
Just follow this rule of thumb. If a news crew can do it, you can.
