You will get many good and well intentioned comments however, unfortunatley you will get many adverse comment also.
Anyway.. great shot and that deer could have not died much faster than that. I would rather see a deer run 20 - 30 feet and drop and get tagged and provide a good winters feed for a deserving family rather than see some yahoo shoot too quick and wound the deer and never harvest it because it was only wounded. That would be the true crime.

For all you anti-hunters let me share some reality with you. Deer die in only a few ways. They starve to death, die in pain from disease but while they are dying they get eaten alive by by other animals or they get hit by cars.
The alternative is being humanly and painlessly harvested as you see in this vid. Which would you prefer?
If deer are not hunted they over populate, starve and pass lung worms to each other until the whole herd dies.

@Kalazam Your an idiot spouting stupidness from your mouth i also just made a perfect heart shot on the buck i took this year dead center the deer ran a quarter mile before it knew it was dead it's called ADRENNALINE! Only instant kill is a Head shot and the drop from your so called perfect heart shot the deer is still alive each case is different.
