  • Feel really bad for these guys.

Iraq was/is a mess. Saddam tried hard to keep some form of normalcy but the US invasion really stirred the shit up.

Disclaimer: A quick history lesson follows. Dumb people need not read further.

Iraq since the Mongol invasions and subsequent destuction has been a battle ground between various factions. It has pitted the Ottoman Empire against the Safavids. Its has pitted the Sunnis vs Shia, Arabs vs Persians, Kurds Vs Arabs, Salafists vs everyone else. You see More..

  • May Allah bless the people of Iraq.

    Adversity only makes one stronger.

  • There's some tough times ahead but I'm quite certain in 20 years Iraq will be the new jewel of the Middle East.

Once all the blue hairs die off and the younger generation takes the reigns the young ones now who tasted that freedom, they will be the ones in power in 20 years.

You don't think there was terrorism for years after WWII? There was. This isn't something new we've been here before.
