not as fast as I hoped but with the conditions I'm surprised it even on the tracks. here where I live all the trains would be delayed with at least 3 hours in those conditions...

Not as fast.. but I used to live near to one of the main London express lines. I was always struck by how you could hear the zinging sound of an oncoming express on the overhead lines long before you could hear the sound of the train.
