    • He's got staff working on it. He plans to bitch about how warming has made Erie freeze therefore denying Buffalo NY of much needed lake-effect precipitation. Drought is on its way for the western NY area because of this man-made debacle. We must send in federal disaster relief NOW! Oh, and take away all the light bulbs.

You never know... it could happen. ;)

NOAA: 2010 Tied For Warmest Year on Record

    January 12, 2011
According to NOAA scientists, 2010 tied with 2005 as the warmest year of the global surface temperature record, beginning in 1880. This was the 34th consecutive year with global temperatures above the 20th century average. For the contiguous United States alone, the 2010 average annual temperature was above normal, resulting in the 23rd warmest year on record.

    • Only 10 minutes for me, on this side. Start walking, I'll meet you in the middle, Perch should be biting.

Thing is, this is like living next to a Giant ice cube. Temps to be below 10-F. next two nights. Good thing is, being near the middle where it is frozen, we should have much less lake-effect snow the rest of this winter here. This will make for a long cool spring, too.

      (Thanx for the post, Rubi)

  • Yeah, yeah, yeah...and they find fossilized remains of dinosaurs and warm weather plants in the arctic.

The earth has been much, much warmer than it is today, and somehow it survived.

    Epic politicization of science fail.
