every-time I watch one of these I wonder what it would have been like if the UK had stayed out of the looming conflict that was brewing in Europe, would it have been possible to do so, I don't know but I do know it was a terrific waste of men resources and treasure and it irrevocably changed the nature of our National Heritage for ever.
