If you thought that only Europe,Russia and America gets snow in the winter then think again - Yes, the Middle east is not an exception, mainly now in the middle of winter.

The photos were taken on the Golan heights and northern Israel this weekend, during a snow storm, the last photo is from last year winter.

The video (starts at 0:16) was taken few years ago and also shows the Golan in snow.

From time to time there is also snow in the Galilee mountains, and also in Jerusalem and the mountains around, and during very harsh winters even in the high places of the Negev desert.

Tel-Aviv area saw snow only in 1992 and 1950....
