A picture is worth a thousand words, maybe even an entire GDP

I got this in an e-mail a couple of hours ago and it seemed worth sharing.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

House Minority Leader Lawrence F. Cafero Jr., R-Norwalk, pictured standing, far right, speaks while colleagues Rep. Barbara Lambert, D-Milford and Rep. Jack F. Hennessy, D-Bridgeport, play solitaire Monday night as the House convened to vote on a new budget. (AP)

The guy sitting in the row in front of these two ... he's on Facebook, and the guy behind Hennessy is checking out the baseball scores.

These are the folks that couldn't get the budget out by Oct. 1, and are about to control your health care, cap and trade, and the list goes on and on...

This is one of their work days that we all pay for (salary is about $179,000 per year). I am ready to start from the beginning by voting out all elected officials and not letting any of them stay in office for more than two terms. No more lifelong healthcare, full retirement after a single two-year term, voting in their own pay raises, taking perks on our taxes, exempt from SEC insider trading laws, etc.

Remember in November.

  • No wonder they don't have time to read the bills they vote for.

  • If this is real, vote the bastards out!! Hell, I dont doubt most of them, aside from a select few, do this kinda stuff on a daily basis. Anyone on here would be fired if they were caught doing this on the job, and they dont get paid nearly as much and aren't responsible for governing millions of peoples lives.

  • Ah, it's just not fair to suggest that these freely elected noblemen and women weren't actually listening or considering fairly the speaker's words... You're making it look like they don't take the faith placed in them by the voters seriously... That can't be true. Can't be.

  • I'll await Obama's thought police were I to express outrage that these losers need to be dragged out, shot, and then buried in a roadside ditch.

Tarred and feathered is to respectful.

American citizens are out of work, not getting married, not having children (having abortions), are going homeless and falling into poverty, peoples lives are being ruined.

    WTF????

  • Who the fak wants to listen to a Republican anymore? Especially in a state government.

If they are in control, they just cut taxes, increase spending for corporate kickbacks, and cut education, infrastructure etc.

If they are not in control completely, they just try to obstruct anything and everything unless they get their tax cuts for the rich, and expenses for corporate kickbacks, cuts for education and infrastructure.

They are a damn broken record over that crap. Then when the shit More..
