Italy - During the last night, off Barlettas coast,the Coast Guard ships have arrested an Egyptian vessel, with 66 non-EU migrants on board.
Already the previous day, during patrols of the Strait of Otranto, a Naval Guard Group of the Financial Police of Taranto, had sighted an iron vessel of 25 meters, with the name written in Arabic characters, sailing towards the Italian coast ,and then began a long discrete monitoring of movements of the vessel, which continued its course to the north of Bari, about 70 miles from the coast, where it stopped waiting for the night for landing the illegal immigrants
