"Mujahideen" fighting Soviets in Afghanistan were called heroes by the USA.
"Mujahideen" fighting Russians in Chechnya were also positive for the US administration and were nicknamed "freedom fighters".
But the "mujahideen" fighting Americans in Iraq and Afghanistan are bad.
Still the "mujahideen" fighting against the Syrian government are once again very good for the US administration.
