  • Regardless of who designed it or supported it, Obamacare is a shitty system destined to fail.

It really doesn't matter, to me, what the origins of the Affordable Care Act are; it's a terrible idea no matter who started it.

  • Of course the "exchange" is part of Obamacare. states are to set up exchanges for individuals to buy at group rates. States rights? The Republican ideas for a replacement are on FoxNews website today. They feature selling insurance across state lines (removing the states' right to regulate insurance) and, get this, offering federal insurance to everybody.

Ya'll are so fucked. You have no idea, no plan for what to do. If the Republicans take power Etch-a-Sketch™ Mittens will ju More..

  • like everything liberal/democrat, you have to lie and bullshit.
The idea of individual responsibility is a conservative notion but the government forcing us to buy something sure as fuck isn't.

The easiest way to understand liberalism/liberals is that they are advocates ONLY for Government and their own power.

Conservatives are advocates for the ONLY minority that counts, the individual

    • @_Byron_ you modern Republicans aren't even conservatives in the traditional model, your so far right wing of what Republicans used to be its a joke. Old style Republicans would shudder at the anti-Federal government (and ultimatley) anti-United States views expressed by you zealots. If you had your way the White House would only be a symbol, with the only real government/governing (ie infrastructure services) in America being undertaken by the corporate sector. The modern Republican Party - its More..

    • @Challenge Accepted

Hilarious how so many Republicans still think to be "Conservative" all you need to do is be lemming for the letter (R). So many were victims of the Real Estate, Banking & Unemployment disasters yet still think they are the better Citizens even though they may have also gotten help. They think by keeping it a secret while being cheerleaders for Faux news makes them any better, yet have no plans but to bitch.

True Conservatism definitely is dead in the general More..

    • @Loomfries hey man glad you know whats going on, seriosuly wtf is up with modern American Republicans their views would basically destroy the American state, I vote (and always will) for the Australian Labour Party, which is basically like a version of the Democrat Party. It blows me away how short sighted the modern Republicans are. Do they really want their children to be soldiers or slaves?

    • @_Byron_ Pardon me for calling you a stupid cunt who can't face the truth, but you're a stupid cunt who can't face the truth.

If Mittens didn't say what he said, show us. If the individual mandate didn't come from the Heritage Foundation and didn't get promoted by Newt just give us a link.

      Stupid cunt.

  • LOL! So Obama's disaster is Romney's fault? Are you sure it's not Bush's fault like everything else the gay african screws up.

    • @onepercent

Only if you consider Romney a "disaster". But no, you Neocons only keep confirming the hypocrisy the cartoon above is smacking you in the face with.

      That and you have dementia.

  • If OBamacare isn't overturned, and they wind up taxing the shit out of us for it, i'll retire when i turn 55 in 3 years instead of 2019 like i am supposed to. We are getting raped out of so much money where i work (14% wage cuts in the last year and a half) going to work simply won't make any sense.

    • @Eva_Destruction pal do you know why your really getting raped? Because the Pentagon is sucking all the money out of America into its 5 sides, the American people need healthcare, not more carrier fleets in the Pacific theatre.

    • @Challenge Accepted yes i know that. The USA can't afford to be world policemen anymore. Its really not talked about much, but obviously these trillion dollar wars-for-nothing are what has really bankrupted us.

    • @Eva_Destruction which is a shame cause Merica is a good police men, in the light of history you guys will be seen as misguided good guys. I wonder how the India/China era will go? Probably not as peacefully. That said the West as an multi-nation Alliance will always remain strong, as long as we can keep our flagging economies running!

    • @Challenge Accepted A big war is coming within the next ten years. After studying history for 30 years, specifically the wars of the 20th century, it is clear to me the same pattern is being repeated as before World War 2. Many smaller wars (Afghanistan is basically a NATO live fire exercise) are going to lead to one big one. Nules will probably not be used, not because the leaders care about the lives of their people (in general, they don't), but because leaders with a decimated population h More..

    • @Eva_Destruction nah I completely disagree, the greatest risk of that sort of conflict was in 1969. The days of large scale nation state vs nation state conflict, I believe, are largely over. Israel vs the Arab states might happen and might be nuclear. What you will see increasingly is civil wars, theres too many people and not enough to go around. I think ideology will make a big come back as the difference between have and have nots increase. The Wall Street Protests and the London Riots are a More..
