A 57 year old salesman was killed in a robbery that took place in a building supplies store.
The video shows a man wearing a motorcycle helmet entering the store at around 11am. He talks to one of the salesmen and heads to the balcony, ordering the clerk to hand over the money. That's when one of the salesmen reacts and gets shot twice in the abdomen. Despite of his gunshot wounds, the worker doesn't let go and grabs the criminal's legs, making it harder for him to get away. When he realizes he won't make it out of there in time, the robber shoots again, this time aiming for the salesman's head. He dies instantly. According to the police, the criminal took off in a black motorcycle. No further information will be given until they make some progress on the investigation.

@Zumbee Sometimes it can be an advantage to attack a bigger person. For example it's easier to take down a taller opponent because of the higher center of gravity. However it's just plain stupid to attack a guy with a gun if you don't know what you are doing and don't have the moment of surprise.

@suffy12 I'm a wrestler so I know I'm right ;)
"Tall wrestlers might lack the lower center of gravity and brute strength found in shorter opponents"
"Tall wrestlers typically lack the power to "shoot" -- or charge -- their opponent and attempt takedowns"

If you see someone in Brazil with a motorcycle helmet walking around, get the hell outta there. That seems to be their version of a ski mask.

You celebrate when people fight back and win, and call them idiots when they fail. That's fucked.
May the deceased and his giant balls rest in piece.

@Spydermagnet No this guy was particularly stupid. Those who fight back and win obviously picked their fight better than this idiot. The guy is much bigger, wearing a motorcycle helmet and oh yeah he also already shot you twice in the stomach. Better keep holding his legs!!!

@Thetruthisalwaysthetruth and Darktide
He didn't start the fight. Another guy did and then ran away. He was the only other person that jumped in to stop the robbery. If others hadn't abandond him, it could have been a much different outcome. So from my standpoint - he was a hero - he didn't just stand by uselessly when his friend was in trouble. It was his friends initial action that I find ill advised.

@Spydermagnet Hmm he was actually the one that started the fight and tried to be the hero. Look closely. I don't blame his coworkers for running away. Why should they risk their lives for his immature decision to take on a guy gun with a gun.
You make stupid decisions then suffer the consequences. Don't count on other people to bail you out.

This is actually the dumbest thing I've ever seen. And I'm 31 and on the internet looking at this shit more than I should.
Let me attack a guy much bigger than me, with a gun, who is wearing a motorcycle helmet too and then KEEP attacking him after he shoots me twice. Why? For some cash that isn't even mine.

Thats exactly what I was thinking.
Theres really no easy solution here. Half the time you listen to everything the robbers say and they murder you anyway.
Its a roll of the dice. I guess he wanted to go down fighting rather than be executed.

Died from dumbassness (I just made this word up). I'll attack someone who's trying to hurt my family and will proudly die doing it, but to defend my employer's stuff? screw that! that's what insurance is for. Give him the money and let him go.

@planestrainsautomobiles It was the victim who got himself killed. Let the guy take the money and live. That is what he was talking about. Of course it is the robbers fault but the victim should have known better than to fight with a man with a gun over money that could have been replaced by insurance.

"It was the victim who got himself killed"
-So you blame the victim as well, go figure.
-How do you know the store had such insurance?
-And even if it did, those costs are passed along to everyone, it's not magic money.
