  • Obama wants to establish a panel of bureaucrats who will be wearing black robes and holding sickles. their job will be to either turn thumbs up or down on poor old grandma. That's God's truth because Rush said so. Palin too and she be smart.

  • Actually, what's scary is a President that lies right to your face, wants to rush through a bill that is designed to have many specifics determined later by government appointed regulatory committees, and his hostility to anything to do with the free market.

Won't be so funny when you realize this is not free and you will get the same care those old people get.
You will pay out your arse for it, that is why we hear this rhetoric rather than the facts of the bill.

One way or the other, due to limits in funding, some treatments are going to get cut. The question is whether you want an insurance autocracy or a bureaucratic autocracy to make the choices.

  • I think by what I gather we are suppose to be afraid of the Big Bad Boogie Man the Insurance Companies, you know the one that paid for my mothers Colon operation when she had cancer and the same insurance that paid for my dads Prostrate Cancer treatments.
Wait and see this isn't a Single Payer Plan so you will freaking pay that is for sure.
My Insurance pays for all my preventive tests I have the same Insurance those SEIU guys have and they know holding those Health reform Now signs they won't have to have that lousy care because the Union won't allow it. They get Blue Cross Blue Shield they won't have to have that Lousy Public Option.

  • Check out your window, you might see one of those "mushroom clouds" Cheney spoke of every day for a few years.

  • How the hell do any of the people who talk about this know what they're talking about. I have heard that there are at least five different versions of the bill, and it's all in flux. Safe to say the public option will get axed. There's just too much insurance company money being thrown around. Well, we'll just have to elect reps who really are representing our interests. Hate to sound repetitive, but until we get public campaign finance, we're screwed.

  • For once you are correct Obama. However, the disdain comes from your lieing ass trying to shove pork barrel, pay backs down our throats under the guise of a "Crisis".

None of those will pass in the Senate. The Senate will have to make a new one and then see if the House will by in to it.

  • I call bullshit on this 1 poster. Have you ever had a loved one die because he didnt have access to healthcare? Some of us have. My Dad would be alive today if he lived in Canada, or Great Brittain, or Germany, France, Austrailia, or Japan. Or even ******* Cuba! He had colon cancer that could have been treated had he been able to afford the colonoscopy, surgery and medication when he first noticed the symptoms 12 years ago. My Dad was a small business owner and couldnt even afford the premiums. So **** all you evil neoCONS. You WILL lose this fight. So do all the quarterback armchairing you want. I would have given anything to save my Father's life. And i will be damned if this happens to your Fathers, or your children. I will be blessed to know my hard earned tax dollars are going for something good for a change.

  • In my household there a letter of commendation from the US Department of Justice.

My family fought and died during World War II, I have black and white war photographs of the raising of the US flag over Iwo Jima, originals, my family served during the Korean war, the Vietnam war. Were raised with the values expressed during the 1976 bicentennial celebration.

This country is a ******* disgrace.

Your mistaken. I was injured. I had the government vultures come into my room. I was heavily sedated with Fentynal. The strongest narcotic offered for break-through pain. Requesting I sign, 30 minutes after I had been injected with Fentynal.

I agree the system needs to be changed. But for the positive. Not for another system which will go bankrupt in 20 years such as what is purposed with this plan..
