Chinchillaz Gettin' Clean

Our two goofy Chinchillas taking a dust bath... with a curious dog lurking about.
The dust is made from finely ground pumice - volcanic rock that consists of highly vesicular volcanic glass.
The dust gets into their fur and absorbs oil and dirt.

@lucidx1 - yep. usually near the $200 range at the the pet stores.
We got these guys for free. Cage and and all accessories, too. They were put up for adoption at a PetSmart. Their previous owners moved and could not take them with.

That's a pretty good deal, surprised they didn't ask for any cash but I guess they just wanted a good home for them. I got my guinea pig as a baby as a gift from my girlfriend, he's about a year old now. He needs a friend though, I don't know whether I should buy him a girlfriend or a best friend LOL
