Holiday Cottage Voyeurs Jailed.

A man has been jailed for 30 months for setting up secret cameras to spy on people renting his holiday cottage .David Sturgess 54 was found guilty of 12 charges of voyuerism and of 3 charges of taking indecent images of children.
Swansea Crown Court heard that Sturges hid cameras in fake smoke alarms to film guests undressing,showering and having sex at Llandysul,Ceredigion West Wales,sturgess wa More..s also disqualified from working with children and will have to join the sex offenders register.
The court was told how he converted a farm building in to a 3 star holiday cottage and hid a network of cameras in false fire alarms .His ex partner Teresa Crick told the court how he would eatch a tv moniter showing the naked guests.She reported him to the police after they split up.
The victims were 10 females and two males,three were under 18 years old.The jury heard how the cameras could zoom in on the victims whilst they were showering using the toilet,undressedand having sex.After the sentance the court heard that Sturgess had previous convictions for indecent assault and battery.
