Ski boat crash.
The 2012 Southern 80 race was on today. I was intending to go down and get some footage but life got in the way. For those interested who haven't heard Hellrazor won it again with a time of 30:37, just 5 seconds off the record they set in 2010. That's an average speed of around 160kph on a twisty snag ridden river.
Anyway since I got no footage here's a crash from last years race. The crew of "Top Gun" were very, very lucky. And they were only minutes from finishing. But I think that snag should've been marked even though they did take it a bit wide.

why would you take your boat that close to underwater objects? i mean, there were trees sticking out of the water right next to where he hit the submerged stump. not only is that dangerous for your boat--it is really dangerous for the skiers.
