If you read the History with capital "H", not the news papers which you can use to make fire with, you can remember that Syria was under the Ottoman regime ( today Turkey ) before the WWI, and then under the French mandate given by the Nations' Society, and you may understand that both push to the war because they have an interest in that !

"syria moved 30000 troops to the turkish border" .... Well the truth is After the Turkish parliament OK d a cross border operation the syrian military subjects immediately moved away from the border as far as 10 km.
If syria uses chemical weapons Turkey wont hesitate to arrest assad the next day and give him to te rebels for another qaddafi show.
